With reference to Your Lordship's despatch No.

96 of the 19th March, 1920, which states that the Board of Trade concur in the proposal that enemy owned shares on the London register of the Hongkong and Shanghai Banking Corpora- tion should be registered in the name of the Custodian of Enemy Property in this Colony, I have the honour to request that the Board of Trade may be approached with a view to obtaḥ -ing from the Public Trustee all the information that is avail able concerning such enemy or suspected enemy shareholders, and as to what scrip, if any, is now in his possession.
